Healthy Homes is a holistic model that integrates environmental, affordable housing, and public health issues into a larger strategy. The goal of the Fresno roundtable is to facilitate a rich discussion that identifies local concerns while evaluating cutting edge research in order to analyze how we might collaboratively implement a healthy homes model by working across in our respective fields. The summit will be attended by policy professionals, researchers, and community leaders who work in a variety of related fields but have a common vision of moving forward with Healthy Housing. At the symposium we will develop a plan that will inform a broader Statewide strategy for implementing a Healthy Homes model that also makes sense for our communities regionally. The results from all summits, including Sacramento, Oakland, Los Angeles, and San Diego will be presented at the Statewide CA Breathing conference in San Francisco June 16th and 17th.
